NGC 2264 identifies two astronomical objects:
- the V-shaped "Cone Nebula" (emission nebula)
- the "Christmas Tree Cluster" (open cluster)

Also included is the "Fox Fur Nebula".

In the upper left you can find NGC 2261, "Hubble's Variable Nebula".
