M31 - the Andromeda Galaxy is our direct neighbor galaxy. Under good conditions it can be seen with the naked eye.
Andromeda is built very similar to our milkyway. M32 and M110 correspond to our Magellanic Clouds.

In several billion years the Andromeda galaxy will meet our milkyway. Both galaxies will probably merge.
